The concept for this soap started with me acquiring some Tangerine Orange essential oil. The concept of combining a variety of essential oils with citrus qualities just arose from there. The different colors of the three essential oils (Tangerine, Lime and Lemongrass) inspired the decision to use no additional plant-based coloring in this soap. The final swirling orange, light green and yellow pattern arose simply from the oils themselves.
The word that comes to mind when I smell this soap is “bright”, if a smell can be described by a word that is normally a visual description?
Tangerine essential oil – stimulating, mood-enhancing, uplifting; encourages you to be creative, spontaneous and joyful. Balances and unblocks the Svadhisthana (2nd / sacral) chakra.
Lime essential oil – promotes emotional balance and well being; uplifting; encourages a zest for life. Balances and unblocks the Manipura (3rd / solar plexus) chakra.
Lemongrass essential oil – heightens awareness and brings clarity; cleanser of energy. Balances and unblocks the Anahata (4th / heart) chakra.
